Tempeh.
NordTempeh is a pea, but with a little twist – fermented and therefore more gut-friendly and easier to digest. Tempeh is a traditional Indonesian food high in protein and fiber. Fermentation is a food preserving technique passed down through generations and peas are a traditional food in Europe. We combine them and get tempeh, that contains only natural ingredients and is produced sustainably.
NordTempeh is available both flavoured and unflavoured. Preparing a delicious dish is easy: marinate, slice and fry, grill or bake. The marinade gives the dish an Asian, Mediterranean, Tex-Mex or any other flavour. Excellent in salads, nourishing in wraps, delicious in a curry and brilliant with grilled dishes.
