1 glass of fresh orange juice
2 tbsp of dark soy sauce
1 tbsp of grated ginger
2 large cloves of garlic
1-2 tbsp of rice vinegar, white wine vinegar or lemon juice
1 spl roosuhkrut või muud magustajat
¼ tsp of turmeric (can be skipped, but gives a nice color)
½ tsp of orange zest
1 väike tšilli või 1/4 tl tšillihelbeid
1 -2 packages of tempeh
1 tsp of cornstarch
Green onion (optional)
Sesame seeds (optional)
Mix the marinade ingredients together in a bowl and marinate the tempeh strips for at least an hour. Marinated tempeh can be cooked in the oven in grill mode. When the tempeh is almost ready, add the rest of the marinade to which the cornstarch dissolved in the water has been mixed. Heat until the sauce thickens a bit, and the tempeh is coated with sticky sauce. Chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds can also be sprinkled on top.
Serve as you like.
