You will need?
Juice of one lemon
½ tsp of lemon zest
1-2 crushed cloves of garlic
½ dl olive oil
½ tsp of salt
A little sweetener. E.g., ½ tsp of sugar, 1 tsp of agave or maple syrup or honey.
1 tsp of dried basil, oregano, or thyme
½ dl of fresh herbs of your choice
How to prepare?
Mix the ingredients and marinate for at least an hour. The longer the better.
Cook the tempeh in a pan, in the oven on grill mode or in an air grill.
Chop about ½ dl of fresh herbs and mix into the finished marinade. Pour the remaining marinade over the tempeh, the warm tempeh will absorb all the good flavours nicely.
NordTempeh is a pea, but with a little twist – fermented and therefore more gut-friendly and easier to digest. Tempeh is a traditional Indonesian food high in protein and fibre and peas are a traditional foodstuff in Estonia.
