You will need?
A large slice of whole wheat bread or sourdough bread
Pre-seasoned thyme tempeh
A pinch of salt
Fresh herbs (coriander, parsley, chives)
How to prepare?
Cut the tempeh into slices of approx. 0.5 cm and fry in oil at moderate heat until golden brown on both sides.
Mash the avocado with a fork, squeeze in a slice of lemon, season with salt and chili flakes.
Toast a slice of bread and cover it generously with avocado spread. Place tempeh and tomato slices on top and sprinkle with herbs of your choice.
NordTempeh is a pea, but with a little twist – fermented and therefore more gut-friendly and easier to digest. Tempeh is a traditional Indonesian food high in protein and fibre and peas are a traditional foodstuff in Estonia.
